Andrew Ronald Short is a Control Systems Engineer having received his bachelor’s degree from Piraeus University of Applied Sciences and an MSc in Control Systems Engineering from the University of Sheffield, UK.
He has worked for 10 years as a network engineer at the Network Operations Center of the University of West Attica, where he developed services and solutions for faculty and students.
He has significant experience in the field of industrial engineering and energy co-generation having also developed multiple PLC and SCADA solutions for large clients. He has proven programming experience in network services, embedded systems and mobile devices.
Currently, he is working as laboratory teaching staff at the department of Industrial Design and Production Engineering, University of West Attica and is studying for his PhD on the topic of Distributed Ledger Technologies (DLT) and Machine Learning.
